My BackgroundI’m a current freshman student at UNT studying music education, trying to make a bit of extra money and financial security out of something I genuinely love! I graduated from LaGrone Academy in 2023 at the Top 10% of my class, as a proud student of Teach Denton. I am a current employee of Denton ISD with background check and fingerprint on file, and have three years experience working in different classroom settings. I walked out of high school as a TEA-Certified Educational Aide, and I want to use this as an opportunity for networking in my community and helping guide students to success.Education is extremely special to me; ever since 9th grade when I helped lead instruction in my Geometry class period and watched my classmates go from bored and lost to excited and successful in a matter of days, I knew I needed to be a teacher. Since then, I’ve taken every opportunity I can with Denton ISD and in my personal life to grow as a teacher. I’m a two-time State competitor with the Texas Associaction of Future Educators, an instructor for Extended School Day at Nette Shultz Elementary, and I use my creative problem-solving and artistic spirit to make learning magical through creation, study games, customizability, and interactivity. You can view a more in-depth look at my portfolio in education by clicking here, or look at my general resume by clicking here - if you have any questions or want more information, feel free to contact me!Thank you for considering me to tutor your child- it’s a chance for me to make a difference in my community, to make someone feel seen, and hopefully to leave a lasting positive impact on your child’s education.
